In 2012, everything changed. I was a sophomore in college when I had my first psychedelic experience — one that shifted how I saw the world forever. Suddenly, design, creativity, and freedom became my obsession. I’d spend nights on my friend’s couch, scrolling Tumblr, sketching, and dreaming. That’s when the idea for my first independent streetwear brand was born: Young Kings & Queens.
I dropped out of college to pursue that dream full-time. From day one, I handled everything myself — designing custom hoodies, screen printing t-shirts, building the website, managing orders, and shooting product photos. I dove deep into learning about apparel printing techniques, fabric quality, and the business side of fashion. Every item was made to order, created in-house, and full of heart.
But eventually, I hit a wall. The orders outgrew my capacity, and I realized I needed to evolve. I paused to find real manufacturing partners and improve product quality. I wanted to build something better — something that felt as good as it looked.
The Evolution of an Artist-Owned Brand
In stepping back, I noticed something: I felt creatively boxed in. I had built a brand identity that started to limit what I could make. I needed a new outlet — so I picked up a camera and became Shootmikey.
Through photography, I found a new kind of expression. But I didn’t want to be locked into being seen as just a photographer. That hunger for creative freedom kept knocking.
Next came Closure Co., another fresh chapter with its own style and aesthetic. It sparked something in me again… but it wasn’t long before I felt confined by another brand identity. Another box.

I finally realized: I don’t want to be put in a box.
I just want to create freely — whether that’s streetwear, photography, music, or art.
That’s when ICANTFINDMIKEY was born.
This isn’t just a brand — it’s an open-ended creative platform. A home for limited edition clothing drops, premium artist-designed hoodies, experimental garment printing, and anything else I feel called to make.
With ICANTFINDMIKEY, quality is everything. I’ve moved beyond generic blanks. No more basic tees. I’m crafting clothing that feels like your favorite piece — the hoodie your girlfriend steals, the t-shirt you wear until it fades perfectly.
Every design, fabric choice, and texture is carefully considered. I combine original photography, bold graphics, and innovative printing methods to create something unique, wearable, and lasting.
