About a year ago, while working on designs for the Forward Thinking Collection, Amber and I came up with a handful of concepts that didn’t quite make it into the final lineup. But this one... this one always stuck with me.
Resurfacing the Right Idea at the Right Time
Fast forward to this year — I was digging through old design files (as one does during an overthinking spiral), and I saw the artwork again. It hit me immediately: we had to bring this one to life.
I wasn’t looking to drop another full collection. I just wanted to create — something simple, something clean, something real. And we hadn’t done a deep coal black heavyweight tee yet, so the timing felt perfect. A week later, we burned screens, printed samples, and once I saw it in-hand… I knew. It was time to let it go into the world.
